Christian Rubenwolf advises clients nationally and internationally in all areas of intellectual property, with a focus on trademark, design, and competition law.
Before studying law, he acquired technical knowledge during his training as an automotive mechatronics technician specializing in passenger car technology at an internationally renowned automotive manufacturer.
Christian Rubenwolf then successfully completed his law degree at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. During this time, he gained his first experience in the field of intellectual property law through various internships, which he completed at both specialized boutique law firms and large international law firms. In addition, Christian Rubenwolf acquired broad knowledge in all areas of law, including through his work at several chairs for criminal law and criminal procedure law at LMU Munich, as well as through his specialization in international, European, and foreign private and procedural law. At the same time, he also acquired comprehensive skills in the areas of negotiation management and out-of-court dispute resolution and dispute avoidance, including at the Munich Center for Dispute Resolution.
In addition to his legal clerkship at the Munich Higher Regional Court, Christian Rubenwolf worked as a research assistant in the patent litigation team of a renowned international law firm, focusing on standard-essential patents in accordance with FRAND criteria in a national and international context. As part of his legal clerkship, he also completed several placements in intellectual property law, both at an international motor vehicle manufacturer and a renowned international insurance company. At the same time, Christian Rubenwolf successfully completed training as a business mediator.
He has been a licensed attorney with the Munich Bar Association since mid-2025. In addition to his work at AMPERSAND, he is pursuing a doctorate in civil law at LMU Munich.
