Federica Togo is admitted to the bar in Germany and Italy. She deals with all aspects of trademark, design and domain name law (judicial enforcement, customs seizure, portfolio management). Federica represents clients before courts and trademark offices and has particular experience in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU). She also advises on competition issues, including selective distribution systems.
Federica is regularly appointed as a panelist in alternative dispute resolution proceedings for domains before the World Intellectual Property Organization (Geneva), the Czech Arbitration Court (Prague) and the MFSD (Milan).
She studied law in Pisa and Southampton (United Kingdom) and obtained her doctorate in International and European Law at the University of Florence with a scholarship from the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. She also holds a Master's degree in Public and International Management (Lecce, Italy). After her PhD, she was a lecturer in European Law at the University of Pisa - Scuola di Specializzazione per le Professioni Legali for three years. Before joining AMPERSAND in 2025, Federica was a partner in a Munich IP boutique for more than six years and has been working for leading international law firms in Munich and Milan since 2004. She speaks Italian, German, English and Spanish.
