Olaf Giebe vertritt seit über 35 Jahren deutsche und internationale Unternehmen und Konzerne in Patentverletzungsverfahren auf allen technischen Gebieten (Chemie, Pharma, Materialwissenschaften, Biotechnologie, Elektronik, Mechanik). Zu den Schwerpunkten zählen insbesondere die Chemie- und Pharmaindustrie sowie die Fahrzeugbranche. Durch seine Tätigkeit als Anwalt am Landgericht und Oberlandesgericht Düsseldorf ebenso wie bei den Verletzungsgerichten in München, Mannheim und Karlsruhe sowie durch seine Mitwirkung in einer Vielzahl von Verfahren vor dem Bundesgerichtshof, dem Bundespatentgericht und dem Europäischen Patentamt verfügt er über umfassende Erfahrung bei Verletzungsstreitigkeiten. Seine Expertise ist hier gerade bei komplexen, fachübergreifenden Problemstellungen gefragt. Ferner war und ist er in Schiedsgerichtsverfahren der WIPO und der DIS als Schiedsrichter, auch als Vorsitzender des Schiedsgerichts, tätig.
